Yet there is general agreement among Muslims concerning most of Allah’s names. This makes it impossible to know which specific names are included among the 99 names. However, there are more than 99 names of Allah found in the Qur’an and the Hadith, and Muhammad never delivered an official list to his followers. Verily, Allah is Odd (He is one, and it is an odd number) and He loves odd number. Sahih Muslim 6475-Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger as saying: There are ninety-nine names of Allah he who commits them to memory would get into Paradise. In the Hadith, Muhammad says that there are 99 names of Allah, and that anyone who memorizes the list of names will be awarded paradise: Qur’an 7:180-The Most Beautiful Names belong to Allah: So call on Him by them But shun such men as use profanity in His names: For what they do, they will soon be requited. The Qur’an commands Muslims to call on Allah by his “most beautiful names”:
